COMPUGARD LIMITED  3-YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR NOTEBOOKS
GENERAL EXCLUSIONS

 

We shall not be liable under this warranty for:

1.               Repairs including parts and labour during the first year after purchase which are covered by the
             Manufacturer’s warranty.

2.               Loss or damage caused by fire, explosion, direct lightening, power surge and the like, storm, tempest, flood water, damage, rainwater, earthquake, accident, impact, aircraft, burglary, theft or attempts thereat, malicious damage.

3.               Loss of use of your equipment or other consequential loss, damage or consequential liability of any description.

4.               Damage or liability arising out of a wilful act or your wilful negligence.

5.               Damage caused by the fair wear and tear, accidental and malicious damage or misuse, or attachment of unauthorised additional components is excluded from the warranty.

6.               Gradual deterioration, including rust, corrosion, or other ongoing effects caused by environmental conditions.

7.               Loss or damage caused by interference by another party and carried out remotely by electronic means.

8.               Software and/or data is not covered by the warranty. Neither The Atlas Club, its underwriters nor its authorised Repairers is responsible for loss of data, no matter what the cause.

9.               No warranty is made in relation to software or data. In particular, no warranty is made in relation to virus related problems, software compatibility issues, software bugs and faults rectification of these faults will be chargeable to you

10.            No warranty is made in relation to the suitability of the hardware or software in respect of use of the notebook computer in any respect.

DEFINITIONS

1.               Software means - the collection of programs, which cause a notebook computer or controller to perform a                  desired operation or series of operations

2.               Defined Peril means - fire, lightning, explosion, aircraft or other aerial devices, or articles, dropped therefrom, riot, civil commotion, strikers, locked-out workers, persons taking part in labour disturbances, malicious persons, earthquake, storm, flood, escape of water from any tank apparatus or pipe and impact by any road vehicle or animal.

This endorsement is subject otherwise to the terms and provisions of the Policy to which it is attached.

IMPORTANT WARRANTY NOTICE
This Is A Limited Warranty Only And Will Not Apply To You When:

1.               The manufacturer/supplier has not paid The Atlas Club Inc to provide such warranty: or

2.               Where a dispute has arisen between the manufacturer or supplier and the end user/notebook computer owner, and the manufacturer or supplier is unwilling to supply the Atlas Club and/or its approved repair agent with parts to enable it to give this warranty

3.               Where the manufacturer/supplier is unable to supply specific propriety replacement components/parts and:

4.               No warranty is made or given in relation of the software in respect of the use of the notebook computer in any respect.

If At Any Time The Atlas Club Inc or CompuGard informs You That this Warranty Does Not Apply To You, You Should Contact The Manufacturer Or Supplier
