CHANGES ARE COMING TO THE CLUB

You may have noticed at the index page how we are staring to change Atlas. Our focus is going to be to build the biggest most flexible reward points program, which can be used in conjunction with cash and even turned into cash. We have struck a deal with Citi bank that will allow our loyalty points to be turned into a debit card that can be used anywhere in the world. You do not need to have an account with Citi Bank.

The changes are necessary because the old base of Atlas has been overtaken by technology and the advent of Low cost carriers who market low fares direct via the internet and websites selling cheap accommodation. This has sort of neutralized the buying power of the Atlas membership.

What we are aiming to do, is develop a network of merchants, products and service providers right across Australia and New Zealand, so that no matter where you live you will be able earn multiple amounts of reward  points from doing everyday things. You then can the apply these points to almost anything you wish to buy, with the effect that unlike other in-house loyalty schemes, (which in most cases are useless. Take Woolies for example. You have to spend $11,800 to earn a $50 voucher on their Everyday Rewards!) you can use them to anywhere. And because you can use them together with cash, no matter what you buy, it is going to be cheaper because part of the price, or the entire price, will be subsidized by our reward points, meaning also that you can  use your reward points anytime you wish.

We are going to rename TC Points Ever Ready Rewards. A website www.everreadyrewards.com is being assembled.

To make it more fun, we are going to get sponsors who are partners to make funny video ads around their product or service; we’ll post these on a platform such as YouTube or Dailymotion and provide a link from our website. If you purchase the product or service it will result in you earning reward points.

We are  going to invite  thousands on small businesses who normally wouldn’t have access to, or the customer base, to run a reward program, and get them to become a partner in Ever Ready Rewards. This will act as a stimulus for their business, giving them access to a better loyalty program than those in-house ones operated by the big guys and airlines, and to our huge audience. Inevitably this will result in you will not only getting a better price, you will be able to support your local commerce and be rewarded for it.

At the Atlas website we will run all sorts of specials around featured topics such as cooking, wine, restaurants, general merchandise, books, travel etc, in which Ever Ready Rewards will feature.

We need though to build the membership numbers even further so we represent an attractive audience to potential sponsors, and its here you can help by getting your friends to join. After all it isn't going to cost them anything.
